6th Sakura Tango Festival, Japan, Fukuoka, March 29-31

Go get your dancing shoes now, it’s time to tango! Get ready for the four-day tango carnival in Fukuoka Japan from March 29 – March 31. A dream festival for all tango-lovers as you have the choice to attend workshops and tango dance parties (milongas and after-milongas). Coinciding with the cherry blossom (sakura) season, this tango festival is a highly anticipated event marked on the spring calendar. This year the tango maestros Sabrina and Ruben Veliz, Magdalena Gutierrez and German Ballejo, Joel Tempestti and Agueda Mansilla, Analia Carreno and Luis Ramirez are attending. There will also be a food & art presentation, highlighting the best of tango culture. No wonder the festival will be packed with amazing dance shows, live band performances and lots more.

Trasnochando Festival, Germany, Berlin, April 18-22   

The five-day and night tango festival is all set to unlock its doors from April 18 – April 22 in Berlin. So are you ready to party hard? World-class maestros, passionate DJ’s and wonderful guests from all across the world will be coming to the bustling setting of Berlin to celebrate tango. The maestro team will be filled with talented dancers from the Berlin tango scene but also include the special guests – Christina Sosa and Daniel Nacucchio, Stéfania Colina and Juan Martin Carrara.

Trasnochando is a festival for all tango lovers. Get ready for wonderful experiences and encounters with great music and tango dancers from around the world at 8 different milongas, tango balls and tango cafes. 20th International Tango Festival & Marathon Oster Tango 2019, Switzerland, Basel, April 18–22

Twenty Years of Oster Tango! It will be a grand anniversary celebration from April 18 – April 22, 2019. This tango event is a combo of both marathon and festival which will take place at the heart of Basel – the Volkshaus. Workshops and seminars with Chicho Frumboli & Juana Sepulveda, Ruben and Sabrina Veliz and Jonathan Saveedra and Clarisa Aragon and othes will be held. USA Tango Festival & Championship, USA, San Francisco, April 18–21

ATUSA – Argentine Tango USA is popularly known as the US National Argentine Tango competition. This competition welcomes all competing couples with opportunities to shine high right in front of the official jury panel.
